The Store report for June 17-24th

Well what will be will be, we have had some steady rainfall over the last 24 hours, all rivers have a little extra volume and the colour we all crave for but for the rainfall it seems as we can expect that the extra volume hasnt been held up by the lake level as its so low at present. The water is coming in and going out at the same pace at present, though we have a lot of rain in the forecast it is being as always quite selective as to where it falls.

We have had a rather pleasant day with warmish temperatures and little wind and really no rain, yet around us, the rain has fallen and closer to the mountains a very wet sleety snowy day had by all.

The indications are that we will have some more rain how much is any ones guess at this stage but it is due to turn to the south in the latter part of the week and be very cold and snowy.

Rivers will be up and down by all accounts over the next couple of days, tuesday looks ok and maybe wednesday too if we dont get too much more, give us a call to update.
Fish will move with this weather pattern so we can look forward to at least some fish moving as a result of the conditions.

Feel free to call anytime for an update and or accommodation cheers stella 073868953

Specific details:
Trollingkeep an eye out on the wind which will be northerly, nor easterly and turning to the south and bitterly cold later in the week, not for the faint hearted
Holequiet
Tongariro Riverlittle extra volume and colour with recent rain, appealing to the wet liners for the earlier part of the week, more rain may influence volumes hard to tell how much we will get
Tongariro Deltawind dependent
Tauranga-Tauporiver is up and coloured will clear quickly if we dont get more rain as the lake level is low, lets hope those fish move
Hinemaiaiarun off provided a little colour for the earlier part of the week, still fish holding in the most awkward of places as normal, should provide some fun over the next few days
Waitahanuinortherly favouring, run off with a little colour for the earlier part of the week, expecting more rain
Night fishingwind dependent, little pressure! colder the better, look out later in the week
